1) Are you an adoption agency?

We are not an adoption agency. We support families by providing unbiased fact-based information.

2) Do you help match or place children for adoption?

We do not facilitate adoptions.

3) How are you qualified to provide guidance, support, and advice?

All of our team members have a wealth of experience in adoption, including trauma-informed and child-centered practice. Many are registered social workers and have a deep commitment and passion for adoption. We have over 30 years of combined experience in the social services sector and specialize in adoption-related matters. This is our jam!

4) Why would we use your services?

Great question! We are not connected to an adoption agency, which makes us totally and completely objective and unbiased. We will not ‘report’ you to an adoption agency and we will be honest and forthright with you.‍ ‍

5) Are you a not-for-profit company or a registered charity?

We are not a non-profit company and we are not a charity. We do charge GST. You can submit receipts and claim them towards the costs of your adoption.

6) Do you file private adoptions like step-parent (spousal), private direct adoptions, or adult adoptions?

Only lawyers and the licensed adoption agencies can do this, and YOU (the adopting person(s) however, we can guide you through the process (via private consultation services).

7) Can you do a homestudy (home assessement report)?

Yes, we have qualified S.A.F.E certified (Structured Analysis Family Evaluation) writers who can conduct your homestudy for private guardianship, private placement adoption, or spousal adoption.‍ ‍

8) Do you provide certificates for your services including the courses?

Yes, we provide certificates of successful completion for all of our services, upon request.
